By creating an account and utilizing the AlieSMS Gateway, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.
2. Account Registration and Notifications
When registering for an AlieSMS account, a valid phone number and email are required. The registered phone number and email will serve as your primary point of contact and will automatically receive administrative system notifications, including alerts regarding your remaining wallet balance.
3. Service Tiers, Billing, and Wallet Balance
- Demo Tier: New accounts are credited with three (3) free message sends to serve as a demo, allowing you to test the gateway's functionality.
- Prepaid Service: Once the initial three demo messages are exhausted, AlieSMS operates strictly on a prepaid basis. All subsequent messages must be funded in advance.
- Dynamic Cost Calculation: Message costs may vary depending on the transmission route utilized, including the length of the message and the encoding type (e.g., standard text versus Unicode format).
4. Sender ID and Message Routing
- Sender Identification: AlieSMS utilizes the physical SIM card number associated with our gateway as the Sender ID on the recipient's device. We do not currently support customizable alphanumeric names.
- Inbound Replies: Please be advised that while the AlieSMS system accepts incoming SMS replies from recipients, these replies are strictly for system monitoring and are not routed back to the original sender.
5. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree to use AlieSMS strictly for lawful purposes. The transmission of spam, unsolicited promotional materials, fraudulent content, or any messaging that violates the privacy or rights of others is strictly prohibited. AlieSMS reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts found violating this policy without prior notice or refund.
6. Service Availability and Limitation of Liability
While we strive for high availability and rapid delivery, SMS delivery relies on local telecommunication networks. AlieSMS is not liable for delayed, undelivered, or dropped messages resulting from carrier filtering, network outages, or destination-side connectivity issues. We are not responsible for any direct or indirect business losses resulting from service interruptions.
7. Modifications to Terms
AlieSMS reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Continued use of the platform after such changes have been posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
